The Quiet Room

There is also a quiet room containing a small library of books that the children are more than welcome to borrow to take home and share with you. There is room here to take a rest in one of the sleep beds if they wish or to work with puzzles, listen to story tapes or play a shared game with a friend. Our Quiet room is furnished with child sized sofas and chairs and lots of lovely big cushions, just right to curl up on and read a book.   The Great Outdoors! The children are also encouraged to use our outdoor area as this is as much a learning environment as the inside! Here children can participate in most of the activities that are on offer in the indoor activity room, but can also develop their physical skills through pedalling bikes on the high-safety rubber tile surface,throwing and catching things, balancing and building or just running and jumping on the grass area. There are lots of things to see and discover in the garden including a play house where the children can have a tea party or maybe shop! There is also a small gardening plot where the children can grow their own plants, fruits and vegetables… they may even bring home some of their produce for tea!! Our conservatory leads straight into the large garden specifically designed for young children to play in and get the most out. The garden is enclosed on all sides by strong fencing which cannot be overlooked. All gates from the garden area are solid timber gates secured with double heavy duty locks. We have a Play House and a Play Castle in the Garden, Lots of space to ride bikes, run, jump hop and skip! The play area and paths leading to the garden are covered in rubber tiles to prevent bumps and scrapes when playing.
