Latest OFSTED report "The overall quality is outstanding"
Well Done to the Management and Staff at Angmering... We are exceptionally proud!
Angmering: For Children from 2 to 5 years old
Hove: For Children from 0 to 5 years old
We are providers of the Early Years Free Entitlement Grant (Nursery Education Grant) and also a wide range of Employers Childcare Schemes such as Busy Bees, Care4, Accor and many others.

Choosing the right child care for you and your child is vitally important and we hope this brochure will give you an insight into our approach to childcare and education. You are more than welcome to come and visit us with your child and spend some time exploring our Nursery and getting to know us.
The Angmering Day Nursery opened in June 2006 and was developed to provide the very highest quality childcare for all parents and carers. We offer a happy and secure environment where all parents and their children are happy, valued and warmly welcomed.
At the Angmering Day Nursery we have a firm belief that young children have a right to the very best education and care in their early years. We endeavour to provide this in an environment that is safe and stimulating but also ‘home-like’, moving away from the ‘institutional’ feel of many day care providers but not neglecting the core educational principles.
Firstly a little about me!
My name is Juliet Pointon and before opening the Angmering Day Nursery I worked for 17 years in education specialising in the teaching and learning of children in their Early years. I qualified with a degree in Education from Exeter university in 1988 and became an Early Years teacher, teaching in many schools in Devon and then in West Sussex, even spending some time as acting deputy head.
When I eventually left the Local Education Authority in April 2006, I had spent 6 years managing a very successful Early Years unit of 112 children attached to a local school. Even when managing such a large unit, I still taught my own class of 3 to 5 year olds and it was in this role, directly supporting children’s learning, that I found most satisfying. I wanted to open the Angmering Day Nursery to provide a truly child centred facility for children to play and learn, giving them the challenge and support to develop the skills, concepts and attitudes they need for lifelong learning. Since then I have achieved Early Years Professional Status and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. Over the past couple of years I have also taken roles with the Authority as an Advisory Teacher for Early Years services and trained as an OFSTED inspector.
